MARILYN K. CHRISTIAN, RN, BSN, CNOR, CASC Before joining Advantage Surgical Partners, Ms. Christian served six years as Vice President of Clinical Operations and Regulatory Compliance for a leading ambulatory surgery center company. This followed four years as Administrator and Director of Nursing for a multi-specialty ASC. Ms. Christian’s responsibilities in these positions, as well as others she has held in diagnostic imaging centers and surgical hospitals, have included all phases of start-up, development, PeriOperative services, business office procedures, budgeting, contracting, quality assurance, benchmarking, plant operations, regulatory compliance, national accreditation, personnel management and vendor relationships. mchristian@asp-email.com CAROLYN BRUCE Prior to joining Advantage Surgical Partners, Ms. Bruce served as Director of System Implementations for a large Houston Specialty Hospital. Ms. Bruce brings with her over 25 years of experience in the information services and financial arenas, including healthcare and financial analysis, project management, and software systems implementation and management. Ms. Bruce attended the University of Houston majoring in Business with a minor in Computer Science. The first twenty years of her career were spent in the banking industry, Corporate and Institutional Trust Services in Texas and California. PORTER, LCSW Linda Porter brings a varied experience in public and private administration, development of private-not-for profit behavioral health organizations, and management of public behavioral health and regulatory programs. Her direct practice has included providing master’s level social work services in acute hospital settings, long-term care, state and county behavioral health programs, as a State of Texas Health Facilities Surveyor and as the owner and operator of a psychiatric private practice for 10 years in Fairbanks, Alaska. Ms. Porter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has provided professionals and community groups with training in a variety of healthcare and social service topics. Most recently, Ms. Porter served as the Department of State Health Services Health Facility Licensing Director for the State of Texas. Currently, Ms. Porter supervises Masters Level Social Workers for licensure as well as consults with healthcare organizations in matters of service delivery, regulation and compliance. lporter@asp-email.com DAVID A.
